1. Navigate to Catalog Manager
Navigate to this link: https://business.facebook.com/products
2. Create a new catalog
Click on the "Add Catalog" button.
Give the catalog a name and click the "Create Catalog" button. Then choose the type "E-commerce".
Select the option "Upload Product Info". Then select the Business Manager to which you want to assign the catalog. Give the catalog a name and click "Create".
The catalog is now created. Click on "View Catalog" to open it.
3. Add items to the catalog
Now that the catalog is created, you can add items to it. Click on the "Add Items" button.
Select the "Bulk Upload" option.
Then select the "Scheduled Feed" option. With this option, you ensure that Facebook regularly checks for new items added to the feed.
Add the link to the Adflow feed you received. Since the Adflow feeds are publicly accessible, you do not need to enter a username and password.
Choose how often Facebook should update the feed. Our choice was to update every hour and ensured that Facebook automatically detects new updates.
Give the data source a name so that you can recognize it later. Then select the currency and click "Upload".
Facebook now imports your products. Depending on the size of your feed, this process can take one or a few minutes. Once successfully imported, you can navigate to product collections or products to view the newly imported products.
Note: After importing, no products may be visible under products or product sets. Facebook is still compiling the feed. Depending on the size of your feed, this can take up to several hours.
4. Link a pixel to the new catalog
Now you’ve connected your products to your catalog, it’s time to attach a Facebook pixel to it. The pixel keeps track of the products Facebook users look at on your website. That’s how you can show them those products again (dynamic remarketing).
Navigate to "Events" in the left menu and click "Connect to Tracking".
Select the pixel installed on your webshop and then click "Save".
Done!
Now you can create a campaign based on your new product catalog.
