Creating a Catalog on Pinterest

In this article, you will learn how to upload an Adflow feed to Pinterest.

1. Navigate to Catalog Management

Navigate to this link: http://catalogs.pinterest.com

2. Create a new catalog

  1. Under New Data Source, fill in the details of your data source:

    • Enter the name of your data source in the Name field.

    • Enter the product feed URL. You can find this in Adflow after creating your Pinterest Catalog.

    • Choose XML under File Format.

    • Click on the down arrow next to Default Availability to select the default setting for the availability of your product.

    • You do not need to enter a username and password under Login details for product feed. Adflow feeds are publicly accessible.

    • Click the down arrow next to Country/region to select the country or region from which your products are shipped. You cannot change this later.

    • Click on the down arrow next to Language to select the language of the content in your data source. You cannot change this later.

    • Click on the down arrow next to Default currency to select the currency of your products.

    • Click on the down arrow next to Time and Time zone to select when to process your feed. This setting is optional.

  2. Click on Test your feed.

  3. Paste the part of the feed you want to test, including the headers, in the field under Error detection for catalog feeds

  4. Click on Validate Feed.

    • If errors are displayed, follow the instructions under Solution to fix them.

    • If no errors are found, click on the left arrow next to Error detection for catalog feeds to go back to the details of your data source.

Done!

Now you can create a campaign based on your new product catalog.
