If some of your products are on sale, you should make sure people notice them.
But how can you advertise only those sale products on Meta?
Here's howđ
Weâll assume youâve already created a catalog in Adflow and added a design.
Step 1: Create a 'Sale' design variant
To highlight products on sale, create a 'Sale' variant of your existing design.
When designing this variant, add on an old vs. new price or throw in a discount percentage. Why? Because people need to see the win. Show them exactly what they're getting and why itâs a no-brainer deal.
Step 2: Add a Custom Label to your feed
At this point, your catalog has two designs:
A 'Sale' design for all the sale products.
A 'Default' design for all other products.
You only want to advertise the products with the 'Sale' design.
Meta doesnât have a way to automatically show just sale products. But in Adflow, you can add a Custom Label to your feed to fix this.
To add a Custom Label, go to the 'Enrich feed with segments' section in Adflow and choose a custom label.
Pick any custom label that doesnât already have data in it.
Click 'Apply Changes' to update your catalog in Meta.
Step 3: Create a product set within Meta
Now itâs time to create a product set in Meta.
Important â ď¸
First, manually update the feed in Meta to make sure your changes in Adflow are visible.
Now, go to Catalog Management and select the Adflow catalog.
Create a new product set.
Name your product set.
Select the custom label you added (like Custom Label 1).
Set the field to 'Is any of these'.
Select the 'default:sale' field.
Click 'Create'.
Done! Your product set is ready.
Step 4: Advertise your Sale products
Now you can use this new product set to make an ad:
Create a new catalog campaign.
Select your Adflow catalog.
Choose the 'Sale items' product set.
Thatâs it! Now you're only advertising the products that are on sale with the 'Sale' design.
